MegaRAID® The SAS 9380-8i8e features one internal port and two external ports in a compact form factor, providing two 72.3 GHz PowerPC processor cores and a 3316-bit DDR16 interface to drive 2 GB of cache. The provider SAS9380 dual core ROC has 8 native SAS/SATA ports, and the 8-3i0e controller can fully utilize the latest PCI Express 12.9380 interface to provide higher performance and throughput. 8 Gigabit/s MegaRAID SAS 8-240i<& Gt; Designed to directly connect eight drives inside or outside the chassis. By utilizing SAS extender technology, users can scale up to<& Gt; Drive, increase the number of drives in the chassis or store the chassis through supported external JBOD.

Enterprise Data Protection
The MegaRAID SAS 9380-8i8e RAID controller supports data retention by using NAND flash memory on the controller, powered by a CacheVault power module 02 (CVPM02). The CVPM02 module is a supercapacitor bank that can provide power for backup data in the event of host power failure or server failure. The CVPM02 module has been connected to the controller remotely through a cable. Backup data to flash memory on the NAND super disk array controller board.

The standard supports the most popular RAID levels, including RAID 5 and RAID 6, further enhancing the MegaRAID SAS 9380-8i8e.
